(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Iraqi Air Forces attacked two training camps of the ISIS Takfiri group in Iraq's western province of Anbar on Monday, eliminating at least 45 terrorists, the Air Forces command said.
Sputnik reports 15 terrorists have been killed in the first camp and about 30 in the second, with 25 others injured. As result of the airstrikes, ISIS equipment and arms depots have been destroyed.
The biggest part of the Anbar province including the cities of Ramadi and Fallujah was liberated from ISIS in 2016. In January 2017, Iraqi army launched a large offensive in the western part of Anbar province in parallel with the advancement of Mosul liberation operation.
Noteworthy, ISIS group captured the western areas of Anbar Province in mid-2014, while Iraqi security forces continued their preparations to liberate these areas and cities few weeks ago.
